EarthgamZ has a core team of whiz-bang world-class programmers, artists, geospatial coders, data-miners, musicians, and web experts. The EarthgamZ management team has over 60 years of combined experience in technology, engineering, geo-spatial programming, environmental expertise, music and entertainment industry management, international sales, and corporate management. They have been operating as the core management and development team where they originated and developed STAR, the technology platform for EarthgamZ.



Management Team

Carla Johnson – CEO – Creator of Fun Things
Carla Johnson has way too many years of experience in 3D modeling, environmental hydrology, engineering, marketing and corporate management. Carla is the co-creator and idea maven for EarthgamZ. Her educational background includes a master’s degree from the University of Colorado and an additional two years of doctorate level coursework in Environmental Engineering. In 1994 she founded Waterstone, Inc, an engineering consulting firm specializing in complex geospatial environmental problems. A leader in the application of geospatial imaging, Carla’s company created and deployed the first 3D virtual earth, Web-driven software product (STAR) that helps manage the business and technical aspects of environmental, asset management, planning, and other functions at several US Air Force bases. She has been seen on CNN and in documentary movies as an expert in groundwater hydrology in the Southwest, and interviewed in The Economist in 2007 for an article on the emerging geospatial world. In her spare time she is a college b-ball addict and mountain hiker.

 

Russell Huff, PhD - CTO & GIS Director – Makes It All Happen Guru
Dr. Huff is an internationally recognized Greenland climatologist (data used in An Inconvenient Truth) and geospatial programming expert, specializing in the analysis and visualization 4D physical processes using GIS. He has eighteen years of experience developing software for geologic and environmental applications. He also specializes in GIS data modeling, web-based virtual globes, geospatial web services, polar climate, microwave remote sensing of snow and ice, data acquisition and visualization of geologic data, speech algorithm mathematics, geologic and geothermal modeling and spatial representation/analysis of biological processes. Russ designed and managed the development of STAR, a network of geospatial data and services for environmental restoration for the USAF. He is a tennis expert, major outdoor guy, and scary smart. Do not ask him about his white water experiences.

 

Douglas Belscher – COO – Move the Ball Guy
Mr. Belscher has over 30 years of experience in corporate, project, financial and business management. His experience includes positions as Director of Marketing, VP of Operations, CEO and COO and has run multi-million dollar live entertainment and music events. He spent over sixteen years in the entertainment industry where he managed John Denver, amongst many other very cool artists. His diverse background in six separate industry fields also includes managing over 300 employees and directing a professional tennis tournament - Champions Tour (Borg, Connors, Mac, Velas, Gomez…), a national environmental symposium, events for internationally known authors, and other similar undertakings all requiring management, operations expertise, and a certain amount of...insanity skills. He attended the State University of New York at Fredonia. Hail Fredonia. Doug is also a sports know-it-all.

 

Omri Dolev – VP Digital – Web Daddy & Futurist
Mr. Dolev is an executive in an international holding company with interests in the organic food industry, digital media, music (Warner Bros. Music – Israel) and the internet. He is Israel's leading digital content and digital architecture consultant with projects such as Israeli's Sports Channel (www.sport5.co.il ), www.Nana10.co.il one of Israel's top 4 sites, The Dori Media group (world leader in Latin Telenovela's production) and many others. Omri is also the Former founder and VP of Logiamobile (www.logiamobile.com), Israel's largest cellular content company with operations in the US, Far East and Eastern Europe, AND the Former Editor in-Chief of the sports section of Yedioth Ahronoth ("Latest News"), Israel’s largest daily paper AND on the original founding team of www.Ynet.co.il, Israel’s leading web site and largest internet news portal. Wow. Omri has a BA from the Tel Aviv University, 1999. Omri is a soccer (football) freak and big international sports know-it-all.
